SILTI FOAM is a triple expanding polyurethane single component sealing foam. At ambient temperature it hardens to a lower density on reacting with atmospheric moisture. After curing it shows excellent adhesion to metals door/window frames, wood, concrete, plasters, glass, painted surfaces, specific plastics etc. It has outstanding thermal insulation features and can be used to insulate hot/cold water piping, cooling systems, etc. The microcellular structure of the foam exhibits a closed cell structure, therefore post cured foam is water resistant. SILTI FOAM is very easy to extrude and is well suited for sealing low movement high volume gaps, cracks, and holes of that are difficult to fill with any other form of ordinary sealant.

Description
APPLICATION METHOD
The surfaces must be clean, free of grease, oil, dust, and other fine particles. During the time
of application, if the relative humidity is low or if a wide area must be filled at once or the
surface is porous, it is recommended that the surface should be slightly moistened before the
foam is applied. Shake the can for approximately one minute and screw the plastic applicator
on the valve. Spray the foam by pressing the applicator handle into the area to be filled. If
the gaps to be filled are large, create the volume by layers progressively and moisten the layer
slightly before adding the next layer. Since the foam volume increases upon curing, fill only up
to 1/2 of the space. The quality and volume of the foam depending on the relative humidity
in atmospheric.
HANDLING
SILTIFOAM is highly inflammable and it is important to take all the precautions when handling
it. Do not smoke during application and prevent unnecessary heat and sparks. Adequate
ventilation should be ensured while applying. Do not inhale the spray. If swallowed, immediately
seek medical attention. Refer to MSDS for more information.
